Mark joined TerraPact in 2011 to start a business capitalizing on opportunities in infrastructure-related real estate. Mark has led TerraPact through strategic acquisitions and investments resulting in rapid growth. Mark directs all of TerraPact’s development, operations, sales and administrative activities.
Prior to joining TerraPact, Mark was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Datavail Corporation with responsibility for all financial, legal and administrative activities across operations in the U.S. and India. Between 2001 and 2007, Mark worked at Level 3 Communications, playing a critical role in expanding the company’s fiber network infrastructure, most recently as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. Previously, Mark worked on a variety of financing and strategic transactions with Delphos International, Government Property Investors, Inc., and Stephens Inc. Mark graduated Phi Beta Kappa and With Distinction from Northwestern University with a BA in Economics and Political Science and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and With Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an International MBA. Mark was named a Siebel Scholar in 2000 during his studies at the Booth School of Business. Mark is a member of the American Railway Development Association and the International Right of Way Association. Mark also actively contributes to the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association.
